Ho Fan (aka Good Rice) is dedicated to bringing harmony and wellness to our community through a unique approach. We focus on food rescue, ensuring that wholesome food is diverted to those in need. By doing so, we aim to address the issue of food insecurity and promote overall well-being. Additionally, we understand the power of cultural experiences in fostering unity and understanding among people. That is why we also organize fun and interactive multicultural events, where individuals from different backgrounds can come together and learn from one another. These experiences not only celebrate diversity but also create a sense of togetherness among community members. Through our combined efforts of food rescue and cultural experiences, we strive to make a positive impact and promote a vibrant and inclusive community.

Our Mission

Our mission is two-fold.

First, we are dedicated to food rescue, as we deeply care about the well-being of our community and the issue of food insecurity. We strive to promote sustainability and compassion by redirecting excess wholesome school food to those in need. By doing so, we aim to ensure that no good food goes to waste and that everyone has access to nutritious meals.

Second, we are enthusiastic about cultural education. It is our passion to share the richness of world cultures in order to foster community education and appreciation. Through various initiatives and programs, we aim to create opportunities for individuals to learn about different traditions, customs, and practices from around the globe. Together, we believe that both food rescue and cultural education contribute to building a stronger and more inclusive community.
